About Bangladesh country:Bangladesh lies in south-east Asia on the seashore of the Bay of Bengal. She is surrounded by Indian territories on three sides and shares a bit of the south-east border with Myanmar. She achieved her freedom after a nine months’ long bloody battle on the 16^th of December.

1971 from the tyrannical rule of the then Pakistan. The total land area of the country is 1, 47, 570 square kilometers and the population is about 160 million.

People of different religions live here peacefully. About 86.2%of the population are Muslims and the rest are Hindus, Buddhists, and Christians. Her temperature is moderate. She has six seasons. They are the Summer, the Rainy season, the Autumn, the Dewy season, the Winter, and the Spring. Each of them has distinctive features about Bangladesh country.

The people of this country

The people of this country are very simple and gentle. They are peace-loving and want to live in peace with all. Hospitality is another important feature of the people of this country.
Their mother tongue is Bangla. Dhaka is her capital. People observe a lot of festivals around the year. Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Ajha, the Muharram, Durga Puja, Christmas Day, Buddha Purnima are the major religious festivals observe by the people of respective religions. Besides these, there are some national days here. They are Independence Day, Victory Day, the 21^st February, and Pehela Boishakh which are observed with great enthusiasm.

This country is bless with many beautiful places. Among the world’s largest unbroken silvery sandy sea beach Cox’s Bazar, World’s largest mangrove forest the Sundarbans, Rangamati with Evergreen hills and lakes, Kuakata sea beach, St. Martin’s Island, etc. are special sites for the tourists. I feel very proud of being born in such a beautiful country. I am ready to sacrifice my life to defend my motherland from the attack of the enemy.
