Unempowerment of women in Bangladesh

 

Empowerment means the process of giving power and authority to be polished fullstop empowerment of women is a process through which women in general and poor women in particular gets the opportunity to join the workforce and contribute to family income and interfere on family as well as a social affairs unempowerment of women in bangladesh.

In past women were segregate from out of home productive work. They work it within the four walls. The hearth become the place for them. So cooking, cleaning washing, giving birth and caring children became their jobs. Men became the with earners and all other activities become their responsibilities. In Bangladesh position of the women is very humiliating. Women are the worst sufferers.

Reasons

There are many reasons of this empowerment of women in Bangladesh. Of them the following reasons are the most important. 1. Economic reasons. 2. Socio-culture & religious reasons. Maturity of women of our country have not in economic freedom. From their Birth till death they depend on men. Though many of women especially the rural women perform the job of wearing dark and hence post harvest activity But nobody gives any credit for them. They are regard as to Liberty of family.

Until and unless they will be give economic freedom, women's empowerment will not be possible. In Bangladesh women are the worst sufferers. Social free judicious and Customs tend to degrade their position. When a girl is born in a possibly it is not regard as a happy moment they think that she has come if to add to the sufferings to their parents. They seldom think of sending her to school. The parents try to find a husband for their daughter even before the physical and mental maturity.

Then she enters her husband's family that most often prove hostile to her. Most of the time if heart Tower Falls short of the expectation of a husband and his parents they will insert and miss treat her. She may be threaten with divorce. She may be assaulted and extreme cases she may even to be tortured to death.

Some practical measure should be taken for the empowerment of women. The government should be made conscious of the fact that they have got all the potentialities to cactus in the socio-economic development of the country. They should be made self-sufficient by giving them proper education and Employment. It should also be ensure that the work place women get their desirable and just wages against their contributions. The social that exercise regarding the girls must be changed. During the last few last few decades women's status has been change greatly. Today women are playing important role in the all spheres of life. Many of them have come out of the citchens. They are working hand-in-hand with mean in all spheres of work from garments workers to Pilots, doctors, engineers, teachers, administrators itc.

Now it has come to the realisation to all that if you want to keep pace with the challenges of the millennium both men and women should work side by side. In this regard the government along with the people from all tractor from Life should come forward to extend their whole hearted cooperation.
